  205.  1985: founded by Eliot. ;) His first contact with ASM on C-64.
  206.  
  207.  1986: e/m/s became famous. ELIOT created the FIRST MUSIC DISC (one side) 
  208.        on C-64 ever, the FIRST music-disc in scene. Official released on 
  209.        April 1st, 1984. This was not a joke ;) 
  210.        On this disc the most popular music-peaces were found, as COMMANDO, 
  211.        WIZARDRY, ONE MAN AND DROID, THEATRE EUROPE, YIE-AR KUNG FU, and 
  212.        many others. 
  213.        CORWIN .aka. Siegfried Stegmüller is (?) the first fan of e/m/s,
  214.        and since that time he start's QUALITY ASSURANCE for all e/m/s
  215.        products on C-64. His scene name was "SHADOW" and he did many GFx 
  216.        for Commando Frontier and other scene-groups.
  217.        Eliot is working for the NewsAgency of Austrian Youth Press.
  218.        Doing so, is the reason, why he now can write in german-
  219.        language well and can't do this in english ! (hehe!) ;)
  220.  
  221.  1987: starting to write a music-routine, finished on Dec. 8th, 1987, 
  222.        official released as Version 6.09-D. 
  223.  
  224.  1988: time is much to short, because Eliot start's working. This means he 
  225.        still ripped scores and does some improvements of this music-routine.    
  226.        Composed some unreleased scores.
  227.  
  228.  1989: still working and no time for other things.
  229.  
  230.  1990: Wrote a new music-routine. Now this version is much faster and beats
  231.        FutureComposer, Rob Hubbards and Ben Daglish's music-routines.
  232.        Eliot invites "Interlaced Programming Technology" (IPT) to speed up 
  233.        his routine. IPT means to run the routine twice. First to check if 
  234.        there is a new note and/or instrument for playing, second to play a
  235.        new note or continue with SoundFX-routine. The routine now runs less 
  236.        than $12 rasters! 
  237.        Eliot met Sandor Kraupa. Sandor did QA first.
  238.  
  239.  1991: C-64 is nearly out, but Eliot still working on his routine. 
  240.        The final version (V22.10) run now at max. $0F rasters!
  241.        Start working on Amiga and PC. On Amiga he start's working with 
  242.        ProTracker (EMS-AMAN), an score with several beats and a kind of
  243.        experimental for demonstration. (is not a stereo track!)
  244.  
  245.  1992: Start's working for Vobis (aargh!). Less earnings, much work... 
  246.        Nearly no time for composing. So Eliot starts re-arranging the most 
  247.        popular "The Last Ninja - Part II" tunes, EMS-NINx, QA by Sandor.

  249.  1993: Same as 1992.
  250.  
  251.  1994: Eliot and Sandor have now a bit more time. So they did EMS-ATZC. 
  252.        A score with a bit of melody and experimental patterns, you can
  253.        call it "trance". Sandors computer burns down. Now he must work 
  254.        to much to buy a new one. EMS-WZDR released.
  255.  
  256.  1995: Corwin rejoined e/m/s. He is drummer and will invite all scores for 
  257.        final arranging, beat control and QA.
  258.        Wurzi gave his OK, for doing the courier-job.
  259.  22/1: EMS-FRNT released. The cool music of the PC-game "FRONTIER"
  260.        now im GM and STEREO !!!
  261.  24/1: EMS-FRN2 released. A few buges fixed and re-arranged (as always ;).
  262.  27/1: EMS-FRN2 updated. We hate to edit MIDI-EVENT-LISTS !
  263.   8/2: EMS-RFIS Single Release completed.
  264.  10/2: EMS-RFIM Maxi Release completed.
  265.  11/2: EMS-RFIS released.
  266.  28/2: EMS-TFMP completed, except one song (have lost it!).
  267.  28/2: EMS-FRN3 released. Spacey Edit!
  268.   4/3: EMS-TFP1 released. Tie Fighter Midi Pack #1. 
  269.        All "on bord" tracks.
  270.   5/3: EMS-MARS released. This great tune comes originally from
  271.        Holst's classical "The Planets".
