  5.  This file was made to give you only a quick overview of DGiNet, the best
  6.  demonetwork for demogroup boards. You should also read other info files for
  7.  specific regulations etc in DGi. 
  8.  
  9.  A SHORT OVERVIEW
  10.  ────────────────

  12.   1) DGi is an international demonet with both msg and file-echo areas.
  13.      Message areas are of high-quality and file-echos are fast (0-2days). 
  14.   
  15.   2) File-echos offer an easy and fast distribution for DGi-members.
  16.      You're free to decide whether you want file-echos or not. More info
  17.      about DGi file-echo system can be found from hatch.DGi file.
  18.  
  19.   3) Only quality demoboards with demogroup affils (hq/dist) are allowed
  20.      to join DGi.
  21.  
  22.  After this real short introduction, wasting no more time, i'll tell you
  23.  how to join us.

  25.  REGISTRATION

  27.  Procedures :
  28.  
  29.      Dginfoxx.zip includes file register.DGi. Fill it up. Send it to your
  30.      Country HQ or directly to Tommi Vuorenmaa (68:68/0) who takes care
  31.      of updating the DGi nodelist. (A special registration form for point
  32.      systems is also included in this package; regpoint.DGi).
  33.  
  34.      However, if your group is not well-known, please include somekind
  35.      of demo/intro or any piece of art your group has made - we'll check
  36.      it out, and decide whether you're accepted or not.
  37.   
  38.      DGi is free of any fees almost in every country. Countries like
  39.      Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, Greece, Italy, US etc.
  40.      are free of fees. However, there are couple of Country HQ's who have
  41.      decided to ask for some small fee to cover the expenses of international 
  42.      polling at the moment. Ask your country hq for more info.
  43.  
  44.      In few days after you have sended the filled reg. form, your board 
  45.      will be included to the official DGi nodelist, and your board is
  46.      ready to run.

  51.   You can freq the most recent DGi infopacket from Methadone by the magic
  52.   name "dginfo" or the most recent DGi nodelist by the magic name "dginodes".
