  25.         Craw productions is a Canadian software duo from Ottawa, composed of
  26. LakEEE and PsychoMan.  We are big fans and supporters of computer graphical
  27. and tracked musical demonstrations all over the world, and have made a few
  28. ourselves.  In essence, one can call us a demo group, although we do dabble
  29. in game and utility coding.
  30.         As some of you may be wondering, both LakEEE and PsychoMan were 
  31. indeed part of the demo group called "Axidental" back in 1994, but that is no
  32. more.  Due to some internal problems, the two have quit the group to form 
  33. the new "Craw Productions" and continue with programming as a two-man crew. 
  34. Please don't get the wrong idea; we're not snobby and nor are the other 
  35. members of Axidental at fault.  It's just that we found the organization in
  36. Axidental difficult and things did not always run smoothly to suit everyone's
  37. desires.

  39.         But let that issue pass, for this is a text file on Craw and its 
  40. future goals, aspirations and decisions!

  42.         As I said, we are interested very much in demo coding and plan to 
  43. attend most major competitions to our availability, but we are also hoping to
  44. release a few other programs, such as a game and a graphical drawing utility.

  50.         Our group is made up of only two people, and it will probably stay 
  51. that way for a while.  Both are from Canada, their native country, although
  52. we do have family ties elsewhere...

  54.           -Kenji Toyooka, "LakEEE" - AGE 18 (Born in 1976)
  55.               is one of the main coders of Craw, as well as its only
  56.               musician and graphics artist.
  57.  
  58.           -Michael Anttila, "PsychoMan" - AGE 18 (Born in 1976)
  59.               is the other coder and handles most of the very low
  60.               level assembly code and sound playing routines.

  66.         We have not yet distributed many (or any) pieces of software, but we
  67. intend to release a fair line of products.  The advertisement in which this 
  68. text was included, Optica, is simply the beginning.  Here is a list and some
  69. brief descriptions of what we are planning in the present and near future:
  70.  
  71.           "Optica" - This is a medium sized advertisement for
  72.               the upcoming demo Opticron, which will make its
  73.               appearance at the NAID '95 demo party.
  74.  
  75.           "Opticron" - Our first demo, a 6.5 minute long thematic
  76.               fantasy presentation.  This one will hopefully
  77.               catch some people's attention.
  78.  
  79.           "Vortex" - A music disk by LakEEE, with seven of his 
  80.               songs and a single changing tunnel feature effect.
  81.  
  82.           "CrawDraw" - An MCGA motivated graphics drawing program
  83.               with many practical, efficient options and an
  84.               extensive "shape grabbing" interface with special
  85.               effects.
  86.  
  87.           "CrawDir" - A fast and useful directory program that 
  88.               has sorting, searching and viewing options.
  89.  
  90.           "Dreaming" - A shareware game; a horizontal shoot 'em
  91.               up with a unique weapons system and fantastic enemies
  92.               accompanied by 8 channel music and 4 channel sound
  93.               effects.  Seven levels in total.

  95.           "PsychoPlayer" - Our S3M / MOD music file player with
  96.               file menu options and a playlist ability.
