- INTRODUCTION FILE OF DEMOGROUPS INTERCHANGE
- ──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
-
- This file was made to give you a quick overview of DGi. For more info
- read the policy (POLICY.DGi). Please excuse my English.
-
- DGi was founded to fill a hole on the demoscene. Ofcourse, there were also
- other 'demonets', but we weren't satisfied with any of those. The main idea
- was to make 'a high-quality demonet with powerfull file-echos'. That haven't
- changed. To tell the truth, we were a little unsure at the start; maybe
- others wouln't need another 'demonet'. It was great relief, when we received
- good feedback from others. I hope that also you will find this net worth
- joining! But now to the point ...
-
- A SHORT OVERVIEW
- ────────────────
- [1] DGi is an international demonet with msg & file-echo areas.
- We will make our best to keep this net 'shit-free' and provide
- our members with quality message echos and 0-dayz file-echos.
-
- [2] As I mentioned, file-echos are a part of DGi. We wanted to build
- a system where every demogroup's releases etc. would be distributed
- easily and fast around the world. All other 'demonets' lacked this.
-
- [3] Mainly because of file-echos, there is a fee (?/year) in some countries.
- Those payments will go to those hosts/hubs who have to make expensive
- calls for DGi. For exact info, read policy.
-
- Please take note, that there is NOT a fee in all countries, eg.
- registration in Finland is completely free.
-
- [4] ONLY demogroup HQs/dist.sites are allowed to join.
-
- I won't keep you any longer, so I will cut the bullshit and go straight to
- the REGISTRATION INFO.
-
- REGISTRATION
- ────────────
- Procedures :
-
- [1] DGiNFO??.ZIP includes file REGISTER.DGi. Fill it up. Send it to Your
- Country HQ or directly to Tommi Vuorenmaa (68:100/0) who takes care
- of updating the DGi nodelist.
-
- However, if your group is NOT well-known, please include somekind
- of intro/demo/any_piece_of_art your group has made. We will check
- it out and decide whether you are accepted to join us or not.
-
- [2] After this You have to pay the fee (if your country HQ requires it).
-
- - When You have done BOTH of these procedures you will be given your

- Our nodelist is FREQ'able from 68:100/0 with magic-name "NODELIST".
