  22. Finally! A party in holland which brings you a unique atmosphere! 
  23. When you look at other parties you will notice that they are very big
  24. and unpersonal. By providing a smaller venue we hope to change this.
  25.  
  26. The party will be held on APRIL the 22nd and 23rd from SATURDAY 13:00 hours
  27. till SUNDAY 17:00 hours in Utrecht, Holland, where the chicks are the
  28. beautifullest and the windmills the dizziest.
  29. The entrance fee is 25 guilders. we only accept dutch guilders though german  
  30. marks can be exchanged against a 1hfl=1dm rate (only paper, no small change).

  32. The party place is divided in different rooms; a meetingplace with a bar
  33. and video corner, a sleeping facility (do not forget your sleeping bag),
  34. two seperate rooms (one for the C64 and one for PC) and finally a big room
  35. for all formats with a small stage.
  36. Outside is a big parking place and a cafeteria which will sell all kinds
  37. of snacks.
  38.  
  39. The partyplace gives room to about 300 persons (rough estimate).
  40. Some of the things to look out for are a performance by Jeroen Tel (a famous
  41. C64 musician who will do a gag with his band), 24 hours of anime showing 
  42. on big screen, 24 hour showing of the latest movies and ofcourse a demo  
  43. competition for both C64 and PC. The price money is at least a thousand
  44. dutch guilders which will be divided equally amongst both formats (this 
  45. depends on the number of visitors).
  46. Do not forget to bring your own power cables (grounded)!!!!!
  47. Space is limited so you can bring a computer but when you bring amplifiers,
  48. televisions, large synthesizers etc. we can not guarantee that you can put 
  49. them in the hall.

  51. The rules for the demo competition are the following:
  52.  
  53. - the demo should not yet be released at any time before.
  54. - each group can participate with one demo.
  55. - the demo will be released at the party.
  56. - Ten minutes of the demo will be shown.
  57. - the demo will be judged by a competent and partly expert jury.
  58. - the demo must run on a standard c64,
  59.   or a DX2 66mhz with a GUS (1024k) and a TSENG ET4000.

  62. Some of things to keep in mind:
  63.  
  64. - We serve alcohol but when you are too drunk you will be removed from 
  65.   the party place! (when harrassing people, etc...)
  66. - Between 00:00 and 06:00 the door will be closed to keep the neighbours
  67.   satisfied (so it's either inside or outside, or you and your iNTEL inside!)
  68. - You cannot bring your own food or drinks (so leave those microwaves at
  69.   home), but we will make sure the prices are reasonable so do not expect
  70.   those extreme prices like at The Party 4 or Assembly.
  71. - At any time the organisers keep the right to refuse admittance.   
  72. - Racist signs and behaviour will not be tolerated.
  73.   Especially not if your name is John Mate. :)
  74. - Those persons using, selling hard drugs or cause trouble (fighting, stealing etc.)
  75.   will be handed over to the police.
  76. - We are not in any way responsible for the loss of any personal belongings.

  78. - And, as an added bonus, you're allowed to puff blunts (spliff joints!) as
  79.   much as you like, so I guess that gives X-95 an extra advantage over many
  80.   other parties! :)

  82. As the party room can hold about 300 persons it is very important to make 
  83. reservations. those with reservations will get in and those without can 
  84. enter but when it is filled, bad luck!
  85.
