  1.                 KISS FM logo competition

  4.     This is a competition where you have a chance to win money by 
  5.     editing existing logo for a Finnish commercial radiostation, Kiss FM.
  6.     Kiss FM is a radio station for the young (the largest audience is 
  7.     the 15-25 old people).        
  8.         
  9.     Let your imagination loose and create a series of three different
  10.     Kiss FM logos which are all edited in somewhat similar manner or
  11.     otherwise create the feeling of similarity. Make the logo fly, bounce,
  12.     warp, do what you want, but make it with style. There are few sample
  13.     works with this packet where you can check the logo and the style.
  14.     You can also add the following text where suitable:
  15.     "hki 102.4 tku 98.7 tre 89.6 oulu 101.4" (these are the FM settings
  16.     for Kiss FM in different Finnish cities)

  18.     A few pictures of the subject are provided with this infofile. The
  19.     logo KISS1.JPG is the original logo. These samples should give you
  20.     some idea what the competition is about.

  23.     Rules of the competition
  24.  
  25.         - the subject, Kiss FM logo, can be handled in any manner
  26.         - each producer or producing group has to give three different
  27.           logos, where the subject is handled in somewhat relating manner
  28.           (no duplications, however)
  29.         - there is no maximum resolution in pixelgraphics, but we recommend
  30.       that you return it as high resolution as possible and with as many
  31.       colors as possible for the best possible reproduction
  32.         - the picture can also be in vector graphics format
  33.         - the picture file format can be TIFF, TGA, PCX o JPG or in a vector
  34.           graphics format (Corel Draw 5.0, Adobe Illustrator or Aldus 
  35.           Freehand)
  36.         - there must be no production limitations for the logo i.e. the
  37.           producer must own the copyrights of the production.
  38.         - a jury of Kiss FM will select the winner within a month after 
  39.           the deadline
  40.         - the productions can be returned at ASSEMBLY '95 or posted by mail
  41.           to ASSEMBLY organizing or emailed to ASSEMBLY organizing (see
  42.           contact info below)
  43.         - all winners will be notified by mail/phone etc
  44.         - the prizes of the Kiss FM logo competition are:
  45.                 1st     5000 Finnish Marks (about 1200 US dollars)
  46.                 2nd     2000 Finnish Marks (about  470 US dollars)
  47.                 3rd     1000 Finnish Marks (about  230 US dollars)
  48.         - Kiss FM reserves the right to use all winning products in their
  49.           commercial advertisements
  50.         - Kiss FM reserves the right to purchase any competing logo for
  51.           commercial advertisement purposes with 1000 Finnish Marks
  52.     - ASSEMBLY Organizing reserves the right to publish all competing
  53.       pictures on a CD-ROM
