  51.   - Incorporated v.4 of the IJPEG Group's JPEG code.  You can smooth an
  52. image before saving it to JPEG; this improves compression of dithered
  53. images such as GIF files.
  54.   - Version 3.21 of the TIFF library has been added; this version
  55. supports images that have been encoded as a single TIFF strip.  It also
  56. handles some palette images that formerly caused a GPF.  Thanks to R.
  57. Pasco for providing the problematic TIFF files.
  58.   - TIFF files can be batch compressed to JPEG.
  59.   - Batch compression now autodetects the file format
  60.   - The currently displayed image is not erased when you open a new
  61. image.  Note that the data for the old image is discarded so that the
  62. old image cannot be re-painted if you move the window, scroll the image,

  65.     - The slideshow/batch compression feature would not be able to
  66. handle more than 200 files.  Thanks to B. Woodcock for pointing out this
  67. bug.
  68.     - Changing the hue to a negative value would cause some pixels to

  148.   - when you resize the window or when you minimize the window and restore
  149.     it, the scroll bar-thumb's position would be lost.  Specifically, it
  150.     would be reset to the top of the scroll bar.
  151.   - the menu items would still be active during compression/
  152.     decompression of an image
  153.   - with some pictures, there was an extraneous blank vertical strip on
  154.      the right of the displayed picture.
  155.   - some of the buttons were missing an underlined character and the
  156.     buttons with the underlined character didn't respond to the ALT +
  157.     underlined character combination
  158.   - 24-bit bitmaps did not save correctly
  159. - Improved the scroll bar logic.  Many thanks to D. Yee for his suggestions
  160.   and pointing out most of the bugs listed above.
