  7. The ilbm executable is the one you really want to use. If you are 
  8. remaking ilbm, then you'll probably need an ANSI compiler ala gcc.
  9. I don't think there would be much of a problem in compiling this
  10. on a properly equiped Amiga either. If someone does it, could you
  11. please let me know.

  13. Type 'ilbm' with no arguments to get a usage.
  14. ilbm -v will give you a quick version identification.

  16. Try reading an ilbm with the included Brightside.iff file and you're on
  17. your own for getting any Sun Rasters, although those should be fairly
  18. easy to get. In fact, you can now make one from Brightside.

  20. I've also spent some time adding the Amiga 24 bit IFF format to the popular
  21. X-windows graphic manipulation tool XV2.21. I've been in contact with the
  22. author of XV and I will be sending him the code for inclusion with the
  23. next release of XV. I'd rather not release any adhoc patches to XV2.21 without
  24. the authors approval. Anyway, look for it at an ftp site where you normally
  25. shop. He has said to expect that release soon.

  28. are retained and no money is charged for the distribution. If you wish to
  29. use this code in a commercial product, permission must be granted from the
  30. author. If you make any improvments or stomp any bugs, please let me
  31. know so I can add them to any further distributions. Thank you.
