  19. This is a demonstration version of InterPlay 2 (BETA release) for
  20. evaluation purposes only.  It is a fully functional version of InterPlay
  21. with the following limitations:
  22.  
  23. 1) Projects created with the demonstration are limited to a maximum of
  24. ten pages in size.
  25.  
  26. 2) You cannot link InterPlay projects with the External Page option in
  27. media clips.
  28.  
  29. 3) The standalone run-time player is not included in this distribution.

  31. You should be aware that this is a BETA version and consequently may
  32. contain bugs. See the disclaimer above.

  35. InterPlay is a multi-media authoring system designed specifically for
  36. creating Amiga CD titles in a simple, DTP type environment with support
  37. for all common media types found on the Amiga and CD32 including text,
  38. ILBM, ANIM, 8SVX, SMUS, ProTracker, CDXL, CDDA and MPEG.

  41. This version of InterPlay 2 has more features than those described in the
  42. manual provided on this disc including:
  43.  
  44. 1) Higher resolutions for pages - All non-HAM PAL and NTSC display
  45. resolutions are now supported including overscan. You should be aware
  46. that higher resolutions can drastically affect the performance of a CD32
  47. application
  48.  
  49. 2) InterPlay can generate an ISO 9660 image from your project directory
  50. ready to be cut on to a CD gold disc making the process of getting a CD
  51. finished much easier.
  52.  
  53. 3) Animated pages can now be used to give MICON and custom button
  54. effects.
  55.  
  56. 4) A page UNDO facility has been added.
  57.  
  58. 5) External page links from a media clip allow projects to be linked
  59. together.
  60.  
  61. 6) InterPlay now has a rich AREXX command set allowing customisation of
  62. project operation and the ability to link to other applications.
