- 3.1.5 ZOOM MAP
-
-
- ZOOM MAP acts as a sort of drawing preview command. It will allow you to
- zoom into areas of interest on a drawing controlled from a 'map' window.
- This enables you to view any window within the currently visible window of
- the drawing without having to zoom out between identifying windows.
-
-
- COMMAND FORMAT
-
- #ZOOM MAP [modifiers] [CR]
-
- When the command is invoked, a window that is a quarter of the size of the
- screen will appear in the bottom right corner of the display. The window
- will contain a rough image of the current drawing display.
-
- To view a portion of the drawing, a zoom window is defined within the map
- window by using the mouse to click two points marking the extents of the
- window. At the second click the drawing will be zoomed to match the input
- window.
-
- Another section of the drawing can be viewed by defining a zoom window
- within the map window in the same way. This allows you to hop from place to
- place without having to execute a zoom all in between.
-
- To terminate the command, click the window close gadget at the top left of
- the map window.
-
-
- MODIFIERS
-
- ZOOMALL Will execute a ZOOM ALL prior to displaying the map window.
