  3. This DeluxePaint V Demo was exclusively built for CU Amiga Magazine.
  4. This demo is being distributed by CU Amiga with permission.
  5.  
  6. This demo is freely distributable and not for commercial distribution.
  7.  
  8. Electronic Arts would like to thank and acknowledge all those
  9. customers and beta testers who provided us with great feedback
  10. and reports on how to improve the program.

  13. We sweat blood and tears making this the program for everybody.
  14. We want to keep making better versions of DeluxePaint, but remember
  15. piracy and "lending your software" hurts everyone.  If you want Amiga
  16. software to continue to be developed please support the software and 
  17. peripheral companies and your local dealers by buying their wares.  
  18. This ensures that your favorite computer will continue to thrive and
  19. be supported.  If you're using copies of different companies' software,
  20. including our own, now is the time to think hard about making some
  21. legitimate software purchases!

  26. Version 5.0b9 Demo - 8/12/94
  27.  
  28. Save, Print, Delete, and Copy have been disabled. 
  29. Demo version only supports PAL and NTSC Lo-Res modes.  Demo version
  30. does not support larger than screen pages, overscan, HAM, or 24 BIT.
  31. Demo version only supports 16 colors for NON-AGA, and 64 Colors
  32. for AGA. Load has been enabled to allow loading of sample pictures,
  33. macros, textured backgrounds, and a sample media library.  The 
  34. commercial version of this software will be shipping this Fall (1994).
  35. The retail price is currently set at £89 UK and $149 US.  
  36. Upgrades from previous versions will also be available.

  40. ARexx - Full command set, recordable and saveable macros.

  42. 24 Bit Backing Store - 24 Bit data creation, editing, loading, saving.

  44. Multiple Palette Animation - Every frame can have a separate palette.

  46. Variable Rate Animation - Every frame can have a custom frame rate/pause.
  47.  
  48. Texturing, Media libraries - Used in conjunction to create naturalistic art.
  49.  
  50. Camera Moves - Create scrolling backgrounds, and camera zoom animations.

  52. Gradient Translucency - Create gradient translucency fades.
  53.  
  54. AnimBoard(tm) - Print animation storyboard in multiple layouts.
  55.  
  56. Soft Edge Airbrush - New editable Airbrush has a natural look and feel.

  58. Creation and editing of larger than screen animations.
  59.  
  60. Move Requester Enhancements - Key Frame Animation, Animated Fades.

  67. Libs Drawer - Has to remain in the root directory of this demo (required)
  68. Fonts Drawer - Contains Dpaint.font and two sizes (required)
  69. Media - Sample media library (requires a Texture to be active)
  70. Texture - Sample texures for naturalistic painting and texturing
  71. Art - Sample artwork done with DeluxePaint V

  73. This demo has been to tested to run off of floppy disk only. This
  74. demo was not designed to be hard disk installable.

  76. The full version of DPaintV will include an install program to enable 
  77. users to utilise the increased speed and capacity of hard drives.
