  3.      Directions for installing the Caligari24 Demo on a hard disk:

  6.      From the Workbench, place the pointer over the Caligari24Demo disk
  7. icon, and double-click the left mouse button.  Move the pointer over the
  8. Caligari drawer in the window which opens, depress and hold down the left
  9. mouse button, and drag the drawer icon over the disk icon for the hard
  10. disk partition on which you wish to install the Caligari24 Demo, and release
  11. the left mouse button.

  13.      If the screen flashes, an error has occured.  If the partition
  14. already contains a Caligari drawer, either install the Caligari24 Demo
  15. on another partition, or select the offending Caligari drawer, and select
  16. "Discard" or "Rename" from the "Workbench" menu and try to install the
  17. Caligari24 Demo again. Another possibility is that the hard disk partition
  18. is already full. Double click the partition's disk icon, and if the `fuel
  19. gauge' at the left side of the resulting window (percentage indicator at
  20. the top fo the window for Workbench 2.0) is nearly full then you
  21. may have to "Discard"/"Delete" some projects, tools, or drawers before you
  22. can install the Caligari24 Demo.

  24.      When the drawer has finished copying, double-click the left mouse
  25. button on the partition's disk icon, locate the Caligari drawer (you may
  26. have to use the `scroll bars' to find it) and double-click it too.  Now
  27. double-click the "Caligari-Setup" icon and wait for it to finish.  If the
  28. screen flashes, use the Shell to verify that the file iconx is in the C:
  29. directory using the command "List C:iconx".  If it is not there, find your
  30. original Workbench 1.3.x/2.0/3.0 disk and copy iconx from its C directory to
  31. your C: directory and try again.  If you copy the Caligari24 Demo inside
  32. another drawer, you will have to use a text editor to change the
  33. "Caligari-Setup" file before Caligari will run correctly.

  35.      You should now be able to double-click on the CaligariDemo
  36. project icon and run the Caligari24 Demo.
  37.  
  38.      To use Caligari-Setup in your Startup-Sequence, either Cd to the
  39. directory containing Caligari-Setup, or edit Caligari-Setup or your
  40. Startup-Sequence to include the complete paths for the Assigns.

  43.      Some notes on the files which come supplied with Caligari ProDemo:

  46.      The CalData directory and its contents should be copied to the new
  47. directory on the hard disk.  The CalData directory MUST exist in the new
  48. Caligari directory, however the contents are not necessary.
  49.  
  50.      If the "primobjs.idx" and "primobjs.dat" files are not present, the
  51. `Primitives' menu will not be loaded in the object design mode.
  52.  
  53.      The file "calconfig.sys" is the configuration file. If "calconfig.sys"
  54. is not present, it will be created when the program runs. This file stores
  55. your extruder and navigation menu preferences.
