  14. The  2.645x  series  of SERVICE PLUS [TM] is the  landmark  'International' 
  15. version  of this program. 
  16.  
  17. If you have a floppy based system, call me between 7 and 10 P.M. CST on any 
  18. weeknight to complete this conversion.
  19.  
  20. Copy all files ending in the letters 'DBF' and 'DBT',  if any,  to a floppy 
  21. disk on drive A.  Place a write protect tab on that disk.  This is now your 
  22. 'Backup'  disk.   If  you  have a subdirectory  called  '\SERVICE',  delete 
  23. everything  in  that  directory and then the  directory  itself  with  this 
  24. command:

  26.                               RMDIR SERVICE
  27.  
  28. Take  the  new version of SERVICE PLUS [TM] and install it onto  your  hard 
  29. drive as per the instructions in 'GO' and 'GO2'.  Once installed but BEFORE 
  30. you  execute  'SERVICE',  replace the 'GO2' disk in drive A with  the  data 
  31. backup disk.  Then, from your hard drive, '\SERVICE', enter this command:

  33.                                COPY A:*.DBF
  34.                                COPY A:*.DBT  [if any]
  35.  
  36. This will take all of your data from the most recent backup and restore  it 
  37. to your hard drive.   As a final step, delete all files ending in 'NTX', if 
  38. any,  with this command:
  39.                                  DEL *.NTX    
  40.  
  41. Then  execute  'SERVICE'  from your subdirectory  and,  after  the  initial 
  42. installation process,  you should be greeted as a Registered User.  If not, 
  43. repeat  this  entire  process  ONCE.  If  you  are  still  not  greeted  as 
  44. Registered, then call me.
