Sup Guys. Well I've added alot of pointless but kickass shit to this program since the last version. First would be this readme file. I decided that I would have to jump on the readme bandwagon, it seemed pretty catchy and it has a good few good issues- like bug acknowledgement. First problem: I am lazy. I do minimal error catching and dont leave room for people fucking around. So if you want to use this freeware program (thanks to me and blade for his dll) just dont try to fuck around. I have thrown up a webpage for newer versions,http://members.home.com/bolljam/mp3/index.html , or just keep asking the guy who you got this from if he has a new version. And newer versions help.
New Shit to try:
Ver 0.5:
Implemented DRAG and DROP into the main listbox. Try it, it works REALLY well. I also added a few minor features such as when you are deleting items out of the listbox, it will select the next item after you delete one, so you dont have to continually keep clicking to delete a grip of files. As well I decided that my program is finally out of beta state. It works really well. Just give it a go!
Beta Ver 0.4:
I added many features to the list box. You can now individually select and delete files using the delete, as well as right click for a popup menu in the box. It works really well, and I have not seen any issues with it at all.

I added the color change feature. It does everything excluding the buttons which proved to be a serious pain in the ass. Now you can encode in style! I also implemented an ini file which gets stored in your system root directory. It was either that or throw shit in the registry. And I hate it when freeware programs throw shit in the registry. Its called dionysus.ini. and I dont recommend messing around with it. I did zero error checking for that too so if you throw in some bad values. . . enough said. (Feel free to delete it though, my program will just make it again) I also added the directory search button that allows you to browse for directories rather then type them in. Cool shit!

Bugs:
++ Changing the thread priority and number of processors does absolutly nothing. In order to incorporate multi-threadedness I would have had to completly re-write my converting code, and I am far too lazy for that. So for now if you have two processors: open up two copies of my program and set the affinity using taskmanager. Easy as that.
++ Anything else? Dunno. Probably. I sure have hit enough bugs with this goddam program.
Troubleshooting:
Ques: My mp3 is only about 3 seconds long and it sounds like shit. Its just a bunch of high pitched noises. Whats Up?
Ans: You are a dipshit. You can only encode wavs that are either 32000, 44100, or 48000 Khz. And you have to set the quality to match. Check the Khz of the files you are trying to encode. Sorry, but you cant encode multiple types of wav files at once.
Ques: I cant get any of the neat true colors onto my program.
Ans: Yep. You're right. 16 colors top! You are a quick one! (Pansy)
Ques: I cant get the program to encode the .cda files directly off my cd.
Ans: No shit. This is a wav to mp3 encoder. I recommend using something like MusicMatch 4 to get the cda converted to wav with the cdda titles and track names. Then use this program to go from the wav to whatever high quality mp3 you want.(I recommend 256 kbps. I think it sounds noticeable better!)
