  8.     Hang Man is a classic word game where the object of the game is to
  9. guess a word before the hang man is complete (nine wrong guesses). Adults and
  10. children will both enjoy this game. Children will also get educational 
  11. benefits out of the game, helping them with spelling and vocabulary.

  14. Installation
  15. ============

  17.     Installing Hang Man from the .ZIP file that this README.TXT file 
  18. was extracted from is extremely simple. (After it has been unzipped).
  19.  
  20.         1. Start Microsoft Windows.
  21.  
  22.         2. From the File menu in Program Manager, select New.
  23.  
  24.         3. Select Program Item and click OK.
  25.  
  26.         4. Under Description put: Hang Man.
  27.  
  28.         5. Under Command line put the directory where the Hang Man 
  29. files are, followed by backup.exe.
  30.             Ex: c:\apl\comm\hanman.exe
  31.  
  32.         6. Under Working Directory put the directory where the
  33. Backup files are and click OK.

  65. Playing the game

  68.     The first step is to use the Game-New menu command to begin a new 
  69. game (word). The next step is to guess letters by clicking the mouse cursor 
  70. on the button. If the word contains the letter in question the letter will be
  71. shown. Otherwise the hang man will become more complete.

  74. Registration
  75. ============

  77.     Hang Man is a shareware program that has a two week evaluation
  78. period after which a payment of $12 is required. As shareware, Hang Man was
  79. distributed freely in order to allow people to "test drive" it. The try-
  80. before-you-buy concept allows users to find out which programs are useful
  81. before purchasing them. If a shareware program is useful or entertaining,
  82. please support it through registration. The registration fee for Hang Man is
  83. only $12 and entitles you to the newest version of the program, a printed
  84. manual, customer support (through the mail or on Compuserve, AOL, Delphi,
  85. GEnie, or the Internet), and information (and discounts) on other offerings
