  23. special sound effects you hear in this game. All orders are process fast,

  33. Shooter(TM) v2.2  (((Wave Sound Effects)))

  35. This game simulates a Western Gunner, which you will have to shoot at as 
  36. being the Sheriff in this game. Shooter is also base on the old circus or 
  37. carnival shooting gallery games. Background drop in simulated wood-tone, 
  38. wagons wheels, and the Nasty Shooter above is dress-in Western Style gear 
  39. just like if you were back living in the 1800's era!

  41. Now hear real actual  Western Gun Sound effects all around in Shooter. New
  42. improve 3D shooting gallery screen with 3D stand-out brick wall and playing
  43. frame area with clouds, sunset , signs and animated cursor gun sight aimer!

  50. Every menu item above as this effect during and after the game as well!
  51. Options is now replaced by Speed which is your main Control Center which 
  52. will only control Speed and Timer. Note Under this ShareWare version you 
  53. can't access Speed, but you'll be told this when you click on Speed.

  55. The Quick Menu layout is change where the Play Pause Stop are in the right
  56. postion.

  58. Fast game play access with your mouse, no more going through pull down Game
  59. menu drop access to start the game. Just click on Play to play the game 
  60. right now or Pause the game if you got a phone call or etc..

  62. The word Continue will appear when you click on Pause then click on Continue
  63. to play on! Reset the game anytime you want during a game or even on pause 
  64. by hitting Play again to start a new game! Stop the game now and bring up 
  65. the introduction screen for a full game restart. This will happen anyway 
  66. when your game is over then click on play again to start.

  68. Also when you do a full Exit out while playing a game whenever you want 
  69. instead of double clicking on the left bar. This comes in handy if your 
  70. boss is coming near your work area! For each time you use any of the above
  71. menu  items you'll hear wave sound effects just like you hear from Windows. 
  72. Includes female voice greetings on Play, Stop, GameOver and Exit.

  78. Note: Under this ShareWare version Speed is disable and game
  79. play is set by the Author. When you register this copy Options will 
  80. be enable for you to change speed, target count, time!

  84. Since this game is a ShareWare Copy and is only for evaluation purposes only
  85. OPTIONS is not available, and I already setup the game time to 1 minute and
  86. 45 seconds and speed is just set to slow and the number of open targets is 
  87. low.

  94. is normal an game time is set to 5 minutes, but can be lowered by you using
  95. the Speed & Timer Control Center. You also get higher scoring than the

  139. These game that were made back in 1993 only need their  *.EXE and *.WAV

  142. Installing  Shooter v 2.2
  143. --------------------------------------------------------
  144. 1. Use your Unzipping program on SHOOT22.ZIP
  145. 2. Create a new sub directory under Windows called C:\WINDOWS\GAMES
  146. 3. Copy SHOT22.EXE. to your C:\WINDOWS\GAMES
  147. 4. Double click on SHOT22.EXE now!
  148. 5. Wait for the file to decompress
  149. 6. Remove SHOT22.EXE now!

  151. 7. Now use Program Manager click on FILE then on NEW
  152.  
  153. a. Choose Program Group;

  157. Type in Games in both lines then click on [OK]

  179. To make Shooter more fun to play at the longer times I have added 
  180. real sound effects to the game play, menu items and etc...

  183. SHOOTER.WAV, GUN.WAV, GUN3.WAV, RESET.WAV, CLEAR.WAV, GDBYWSH.WAV

  185. These 6 wave files must be used with this game. But don't have to be placed
  186. in the same directory with the game in question.

  188. Note: Failure to keep these files together or in your a file that is in
  189. your path will cause the program to use the default beep wave sound. Or if
  190. you don't have [] ENABLE SOUND checkoff in the CONTROL PANEL Sound Icon or
  191. have no sound card installed in your computer, then you can also play this 
  192. game with out hearing. But it is whole lot better if you can heard the 
  193. sound voice effects in this game.
