  1. This package contains the C source code, suitable for Turbo C 1.0, for
  2. Stuff 2.0.
  3.  
  4. Stuff 2.0 is a program that implements a small subset of the **IX utility
  5. called "find".  Details of operation are in the manual that accompanies the
  6. binary, that should be available wherever you got this source code from. 
  7. Stuff 2.0 is meant to be a support utility that allows files to be selected
  8. for archiving by the zoo archive utility.

  10. I do not know if this code will compile without changes with versions of
  11. Turbo C later than 1.0.

  13. Provided you adhere to the conditions in the copyright notice in the source
  14. files, you do *not* need to explicitly get my permission to use this source
  15. code for any purpose, whether commercial or noncommercial.  If you do not
  16. wish to abide by the conditions but would like to distribute this source
  17. code, you should contact me to negotiate an exception.

  19. If you create a modified version of this program, I highly recommend that you
  20. call it by a name that is different from "Stuff".  This will avoid confusion
  21. with updated versions of Stuff that I may later release.

  23. In addition to the Stuff 2.0 files, I am also including some patches sent to
  24. me to add similar functionality to Stuff 1.0.  See the file "readme.too" for
  25. more information about this.
