  23. After removal of the 'reversepath' operator (which appears to have
  24. very little impact on the results), I ran both DEC Display PS and
  25. GhostScript on the same DECstation3100. The first invocation always
  26. takes substantial more time to complete, while the second (and
  27. subsequent) runs are almost as fast. Only the results for the second
  28. runs are presented.
