  2. I have written a Mac program to convert gray-scale Mac TIFF files and 
  3. MacPaint files to 2 bit NeXT TIFF format or 1 bit TIFFs.  It will either 
  4. discard/pad excess bits or dither using floyd-steinberg error distribution.
  5. The program and MPW 2 Pascal source are available via anonymous ftp
  6. from accuvax.nwu.edu (129.105.49.1).   It is a Stuffit/BinHexed file.
  7. Look for pub/tiff/mactonext.sit.hqx .
