  1. This is an update to Ami Pro 3.0B for OS/2.  DO NOT install this
  2. over Ami Pro 3.0 or 3.0A.  These files WILL NOT WORK with the
  3. 3.0 and 3.0A releases of Ami Pro for OS/2.  If you have  Ami Pro
  4. for OS/2 release 3.0 or 3.0A and would like to update to Ami Pro
  5. 3.0B please call  1-800-TRADE-UP ext. 9991. There is a $10
  6. shipping and handling charge.

  10. There are two files in this update, AMIPRO.EXE and AMIPRO3.DLL. 
  11. They will update standalone  and network installations of Ami
  12. Pro for OS/2.  You need to rename or delete these two files on
  13. your existing installation of Ami Pro before installing these
  14. newer files.

  18. How to install the update.

  22. 1.  If your Ami Pro installation is on a standalone machine,
  23. open an OS/2 Windowed or Full Screen session.  At the command
  24. prompt, change to the Ami Pro program directory and type AMISTOP
  25. then press enter.

  29. 2.  If your Ami Pro installation  is on a network, AMIPRO.EXE 
  30. and AMIPRO3.DLL should have the READ ONLY attribute set on them.
  31.  This may also be true for standalone installations.  If so, you
  32. will need to remove  this attribute to rename or remove these
  33. files.  To change the READ ONLY attribute start an  OS/2
  34. Windowed or Full Screen command prompt session and at the
  35. command prompt change to your Ami Pro program directory.  Next

  44. and press the enter key.  Repeat this command except type
  45. AMIPRO3.DLL in the place of AMIPRO.EXE then press the enter key.
  46.  You can now rename or remove these two file using the REName or
  47. DELete  commands in OS/2.

  51. 3.  Copy the two files in this update AMIPRO.EXE, dated 8/30/94,
  52. and AMIPRO3.DLL, dated 8/30/94,  from the temporary directory to
  53. your Ami Pro program directory.  Once you have done this, close
  54. the OS/2 command prompt  session and you can start Ami Pro.
