  1. Use CREDITS to fade a string onto a VGA only screen.  Usage is as
  2. follows:
  3.         CREDITS <string>
  4.         i.e. CREDITS Welcome to the Mall!
  5. CREDITS will not accept more than 50 characters since, because of the
  6. size of the font, the string of characters will not fit on the screen.
  7. The program will display an advertisment for my BBS (can you guess the
  8. name?).

  10. OK, here it comes.  While I have tried many times over to come up with
  11. software that would make me more than $50, I, like many other
  12. programmer--artist types would like to make something for everything we
  13. produce (that we are proud of). Therefore, (you guessed it) this program
  14. will do great things when registered.  The REGISTERED version will allow
  15. you to:
  16.  
  17.         1) change fonts
  18.         2) change font sizes
  19.         3) change font colors
  20.         4) read text in a line by line format from a file
  21.         5) change the background screen color
  22.         5) change display methods i.e. SCROLL: UP, DOWN, ACROSS with FADE
  23.                 for either method.
  24.         6) add text to the executable file itself for BBS advertisments,
  25.                 screen blankers, cute stuff for your girl/boyfriend, etc.

  28. Registration is a measly $7.00.  That seems fair compensation for the
  29. work involved in the "recompiled" version (with your own text in the
  30. executable).
  31. So, if you want the "registered" version, just call the BBS and send
  32. some money and I will make it available to you.  CREDITS also comes free
  33. to anyone who becomes a paid access user on The Mall!  This is only
  34. because CREDITS resides in a file area only accessible by subscribers.
  35. Take my word for it, the BBS is MUCH more interesting than the program.
