  15.        _X_d_p_y_i_n_f_o is a utility for displaying information about  an
  16.        X  server.   It    is  used to examine the capabilities of a
  17.        server, the predefined values for various parameters  used
  18.        in  communicating  between clients and the server, and the
  19.        different types of screens and visuals that are available.

  21.        By  default, numeric information (opcode, base event, base
  22.        error) about protocol extensions is not    displayed.   This
  23.        information  can     be  obtained  with  the --qquueerryyEExxtteennssiioonnss
  24.        option.    Use of this option on  servers    that  dynamically
  25.        load  extensions will likely cause all possible extensions
  26.        to be loaded, which can be slow and can    consume     signifi-
  27.        cant server resources.

  29.        Detailed     information about a particular extension is dis-
  30.        played with the --eexxtt _e_x_t_e_n_s_i_o_n_N_a_m_e option.  If  _e_x_t_e_n_s_i_o_n_-
  31.        _N_a_m_e is aallll, information about all extensions supported by
  32.        both _x_d_p_y_i_n_f_o and the server is displayed.
