  14.        The  _x_b_i_f_f  program  displays a little image of a mailbox.
  15.        When there is no mail, the flag on the  mailbox    is  down.
  16.        When mail arrives, the flag goes up and the mailbox beeps.
  17.        By default, pressing any mouse button in the image  forces
  18.        _x_b_i_f_f  to  remember  the     current size of the mail file as
  19.        being the ``empty'' size and to lower the flag.

  22.        _X_b_i_f_f accepts all of the standard X Toolkit  command  line
  23.        options along with the additional options listed below:

  25.        --hheellpp   This  option indicates that a brief summary of the
  26.            allowed options should be printed on the     standard
  27.            error.

  29.        --uuppddaattee _s_e_c_o_n_d_s
  30.            This  option specifies the frequency in seconds at
  31.            which _x_b_i_f_f should update  its  display.      If  the
  32.            mailbox    is  obscured and then exposed, it will be
  33.            updated immediately.  The default is 30 seconds.

  35.        --ffiillee _f_i_l_e_n_a_m_e
  36.            This option specifies the name of the  file  which
  37.            should  be  monitored.    By  default,  it  watches
  38.            /usr/spool/mail/_u_s_e_r_n_a_m_e, where _u_s_e_r_n_a_m_e     is  your
  39.            login name.

  41.        --vvoolluummee _p_e_r_c_e_n_t_a_g_e
  42.            This  option specifies how loud the bell should be
  43.            rung when new mail comes in.

  45.        --sshhaappee  This option  indicates  that  the  mailbox  window
  46.            should  be  shaped  if masks for the empty or full
  47.            images are given.

  100.        The  application     class    name is XBiff.    This program uses
  101.        the _M_a_i_l_b_o_x  widget.   It  understands  all  of    the  core
  102.        resource names and classes as well as:

  106.            Specifies  a shell command to be executed to check
  107.            for new mail rather than     examining  the     size  of

  109.            argument to a _s_y_s_t_e_m(3)    call  and  may    therefore
  110.            contain    i/o  redirection.   An    exit  status of 0
  111.            indicates that new mail is  waiting,  1    indicates
  112.            that there has been no change in size, and 2 indi-
  113.            cates that the mail has been cleared.  By default,
  114.            no shell command is provided.

  117.            Specifies  the  name  of the file to monitor.  The
  118.            default    is  to    watch    /usr/spool/mail/_u_s_e_r_n_a_m_e,
