  14.        The  _x_1_1_p_e_r_f_c_o_m_p     program  merges  the  output  of several
  15.        _x_1_1_p_e_r_f_(_1_) runs into a nice tabular format.  It takes  the
  16.        results in each file, fills in any missing test results if
  17.        necessary, and for each test shows the objects/second rate
  18.        of each server.    If invoked with the -r or -ro options, it
  19.        shows the relative performance of each server to the first
  20.        server.

  22.        Normally,  _x_1_1_p_e_r_f_c_o_m_p  uses  the  first file specified to
  23.        determine which specific tests it should report on.   Some
  24.        (non-DEC     :)  servers  may  fail to perform all tests.  In
  25.        this case, _x_1_1_p_e_r_f_c_o_m_p automatically substitutes in a rate
  26.        of  0.0    objects/second.      Since the first file determines
  27.        which tests to report on, this file must contain a  super-
  28.        set  of    the  tests  reported  in  the  other  files, else
  29.        _x_1_1_p_e_r_f_c_o_m_p will fail.

  31.        You can provide an explicit list of tests to report on  by
  32.        using  the -l switch to specify a file of labels.  You can
  33.        create a label file by using the -label option in _x_1_1_p_e_r_f_.
