  10. Text Analyser will read an ASCII text file and then display various statistics
  11. about the file.
  12.  
  13. The statistics such as total letters, syllables etc. should be self-explanatory.
  14.  
  15. The Flesch index and Fog index give some indication of the readability
  16. of the text. Generally, long sentences and long words with many syllables
  17. give a lower Flesch index. The Fog index works in the opposite way to the
  18. Flesch index, giving a suggestion of years of schooling required to understand
  19. the text.

  21. The lowest text gives the estimated schooling required to understand the text.
  22.  
  23. By clicking with the right mouse button, bubble-help for the selected item
  24. will be shown. This feature requires that BubbleGEM is running.
