  5. The parameters  in  the WINDOW  PLACEMENT  dialog  tell
  6. Edith how and where to  place new windows and icons  on
  7. the desktop.
  8.  
  9. For WINDOWS the following options are provided:
  10.  
  11.    CENTER         the  window  is  always  put  in  the
  12.                   middle of the screen.
  13.  
  14.    MOUSE          the window is put as such a  position
  15.                   that the mouse pointer is inside  the
  16.                   window.
  17.  
  18.    MANUAL         every time  a window  is  opened, the
  19.                   user can  place  it anywhere  on  the
  20.                   screen by moving a rubber box contour
  21.                   of the window.
  22.  
  23.                   ** the user  can  immediately  cancel
  24.                      the window by  pressing the  RIGHT
  25.                      MOUSE   BUTTON    during    manual
  26.                      placement.
  27.  
  28.    INTELLIGENT    The window  is aligned  to the  other
  29.                   windows at  a  place  on  the  screen
  30.                   where it covers  the least amount  of
  31.                   space in other EDITH windows.

  34. ICONS are  always placed  automatically starting  in  a
  35. corner of  the  screen, going  either  in  vertical  or
  36. horizontal  direction.    Both  the   corner  and   the
  37. direction can be  set in this  dialog.  MultiTOS  icons
  38. are always  placed  in the  lower  left corner  of  the
  39. screen.
