- The contents of this folder are archived in TWO stages(!). This was
- necessary to enable owners of floppy only systems with 1Mb memory or less
- to extract the archive to floppies. The THING_AC.TOS self-extracting
- archive contains a secondary archive called NOW_ME.TOS which must be
- extracted after extracting THING_AC.TOS. Proceed as follows:
-
- To extract the archives to floppy
- ---------------------------------
- - Copy THING_AC.TOS to floppy
- - Double click on THING_AC.TOS to extract the archive
- - Delete THING_AC.TOS
- - Open the THING folder
- - Double click on NOW_ME.TOS to extract the archive
- - Delete NOW_ME.TOS
-
- Hard disk systems
- -----------------
- - Copy THING_AC.TOS to a hard disk partition
- - Double click on THING_AC.TOS to extract the archive
- - Delete THING_AC.TOS
- - Open the THING folder
- - Double click on NOW_ME.TOS to extract the archive
- - Delete NOW_ME.TOS
-
- To read the hypertext documentation
- -----------------------------------
- ST-Guide must be installed. Copy the contents of the GUIDES folder into
- your local hypertext folder - normally a GUIDES folder in the root
- directory of your boot partition/disk.
