Subject: (orbital) Filter - Take a picture...

Okay.. I found this Hybrid remix of Filter - Take a picture on Hotline which i really really love, so i took the EP of the
track to actually check out the original and i couldn't avoid smiling like a madman: Hybrid's remix is one of the
BEST remixes i ever heard, since it's a COMPLETELY different style but it's still the same singing and all!.. You
really should compare the two tracks, it's totally amazing what Hybrid made of a great vocal track with pretty
average standard guitar-arrangement! 8)

Subject: (orbital) How big are Orbital in the UK?

Hi I am from the US and I was wondering just how popular Orbital is over
there in the UK.  I ask this because I heard an mp3 of them doing the
countdown to the year 2000 at Cream.  Was Cream the biggest New Years event
last year?  It seems like a pretty big deal to be the group playing at
midnight.

Anyways do you think their success in the UK has made them rich?  I ask
because I think they deserve all the success and money that they can get.
Every time I listen to them I am amazed at just how 'perfect' their music
is.  Right now I'm listening to The Box single.  Beautiful.

I hope they continue making great music and I can't wait to hear new stuff
from them.  I read someone elsewhere say that they heard some new songs live
and it wasn't too impressive.  I hope not!

Well, since I am temporarily displaced and back in Boston, I can't go
buy it for you, but while I am here, I used to get my friends to just
buy CDs for me and send them to me, but now I found a better site:

Don't worry,they have both a Japanese and English page. I just buy new
releases, but thy claim they can get anything on sale, and the best part
is, they charge none of those crazy prices for imports. They sell them
for the exact same price that all the stores do (in Japan all CDs are
sold at the same price, as iti si marked on the casing. But, even at
htat, a new CD costs $30). Shipping is pretty cheap. Good luck!

How big was the place they played at in Greece?  I really can't wait until
they tour here again.

I got into Middle of Nowhere right away.  I think their last two cds are
brilliant.  I like the Brown a lot (it's classic) and the Green is good but
they don't have the complexity of the previous two in my opinion.  It's like
every time I listen to In Sides or Middle of Nowhere I hear something new in
the music.
