- Well, *my* Y2K celebration event was dancing around to Halcyon
- (long version) coming out of 5x3 meter stacks of PA on "The Party" in
- Denmark (check www.theparty.dk to find out what this is! 8)
- I was totally freaking out and wore a smile bigger than Mount
- Rushmore! 8) It was pure bliss! 8) I just fucken loved it and will
- repeat that ASAP and if it means buying stacks like that myself! >:-D
- Thanks to Thomas, a friend of mine who is organizer of that event and
- managed to play it! 8)))
-
- If i could only tell you how i felt! 8)... It was some sort of
- substitute for not being able to be at Cream!.. <:-)

- You're right, of course. But the trouble with doing everything "virtually"
- is that eventually it gets really tedious doing everything inside the
- computer. You don't need "real" instruments or a mixing desk or anything,
- but it's a lot more fun! You can spend hours coming up with weird analogue
- effects and twiddling knobs on "physical" machines; on the computer
- everything so sodding pristine... it can get really boring.
- Just thought I'd tell you.

-
- Hello
-
- Sorry this is in no way Orbital related. I am looking for the font used on
- the cover of the Orgy "Candyass" CD. This font looks a bit like Arcade, but
- the "d" and the "y" have a distinct look. I have seen this font used on many
- Orgy websites, I just don't know the name of it.
-
- If you can help me out with the name, or the font itself, please e-mail me

- Steve, and all -
-
- Of course, you're correct also :-)
- and to relate that point, probably my favorite
- acquisition within the last 6 months was getting
- a Korg Electribe EA-1.. twiddling knobs and filtering
- et al can be quite the liberating experience, in addition
- to sequencing live (i do have outboard gear, esp my old
- Korg M1, which is my master controller and yes I do
- play keys..)
-
- I just wanted to reassure others who didnt want to
- have a bunch of outboard stuff that its cool too...

- There's no news about a tour on the official BoC webpage
- (http://www.ednet.co.uk/~ehx/boc/), but it does mention that the new album
- should be out this year.
-
- I think I mentioned this one already, but it really is an amazing album--If
- you're looking for something in the beautiful, mellow style of BoC, check
- out Solvent's Solvently One Listens, on Suction records. If I had to
- describe it, I'd say it's purple. Not the Neue Black purple, but a richer
- violet hue.
