Hey all you East Coasters,
has anyone been to the Electric Factory in Philadelphia to see a show?  New
York is my home away from home, but I don't like the Hammerstein
Ballroom...it's not intimate enough.  Anyone know if the Electric Factory is
smaller?
...trying to persuade all to go to that show on July 11th instead (or in
addition to the NY).

No confirmation or anything, only speculation from www.ticketmaster.com.

When I did a search for Orbital I ended up being directed to a Crystal
Method concert.  They had two tickets for sale, one as a Crystal Method
concert and the other as an Orbital concert.  But both claimed the "Primary
Act" was Crystal Method.

Upon reading about the difficulties (and expense) of finding Middle Of
Nowhere here in the States (myself included), you'll be amused to know I
found it on CD at a store in Chicago for $13, which, as you know, is an
obscenely low price for any CD. (I bought it, of course.)

First off, did they have any extra copies? :)

Second, 13 bucks is normal for domestic CDs, unless you shop at the insanely
high priced crap mall-music stores.  13 is normal for every independent
store I've been to.  That's generally what CDNow and Music Blvd sell stuff
for to.

At any rate, how many people are going to the NYC date?

I am going to buy the Japanese release tomorrow, so I'll tell you the
difference. The track listing appears the same, but one cool thing is that the
Jap release doesn't come in that cardboard thing and it has Orbital, Middle of
Nowhere, that circle, and that picture all on the insert so it actually shows
through like a normal CD.
    Anyway, I know this isn't the Aphex list, but does anyone have or know what
is the deal with the Bubble Bath series. We have 1,3, and 4 but has anyone
ever seen 2? Does it exist? Thanks. Later.

no way, man... it's perfect on the weekend!  :)  I'm planning on going to
the chicago, detroit, and cleveland shows, but because of work I doubt I'll
be able to go to anything else.. <sigh>  if it fell on a weekend, I'd surely
be looking at following them to pittsburgh and new york before returning
home, but that's not gonna happen.  (looking at it again ... maybe I can do
worcester/philly.. :))

but if you'll be in boston on the 9th, you could probably make it to the new
york show on the 9th... and (if you're driving back to chicago) spend a few
days to go through worcester and philly...

There is a 2 and a 5.  I have mp3 of both of them.  They are the better ones
out of the series if I remember correctly.  The best though are the Hangable
Autobulbs, some RDJ's best work there.
