-
- who's from new york city?
-
- 1) carl cox is spinning at twilo this friday night. i've heard he's quite
- excellent. is it worth going?
-
- 2) what do you guys know about twilo? i've gotten the impression that it's
- largely gay and trendy - does that mean i (a straight, largely untrendy
- male) won't be able to get in?
-
- 3) who has been to the tunnel? i went once and really liked it - it was
- complete insanity, and all for the low low nyc price of $20. where else
- would you recommend that is similar?
-
- 4) i saw titanic. it was good. acclaimed action director + unlimited budget
- = good movie. i refuse to join on this anti-titanic bandwagon just cuz it
- seems to be the cool thing to do. so what if it doesn't make you think?
- it's not supposed to! it's cheesy and sappy and cliched and i liked it. so
- there. plus, kate winslet ain't exactly bad-looking.
-
- but seriously, if you have anything to say about questions #1-3, your input
- is appreciated.

-
- Hey,
-
- This is, non-orbital related.
-
- I was at a party on Saturday night and I was dancing very hard. I wasn't
- really paying attention to what the dj was playing. But suddenly the most
- beautiful tune started to play and I recognized. I immediately stopped and
- realized that it was Papua New Guinea by FSOL. I went insane and danced
- extremely hard and I did it with the thought of the list in my head. The DJ
- did such an amazing mix of it. He left all the melodies alone the only
- thing that was changed was the beat. He gave it more of a break beat and it
- sounded amazing. I couldn't believe that he played that. Just had to share
- the moment with someone who knows the song because my friends didn't.

-
- All,
-
- I just read the Rob Holden chit-chat....interesting read. Few things...
-
- Dont believe everything you read in the magazines...even if the person
- being quoted is Rob Holden...please dont. People get misquoted and
- well...there is a few things that were already fishy about that chat
- before it even went to print.
-
- There is NO release date for the album as yet - It may not even make
- January. I dont think we will see it before Xmas though folks....I will
- print the official release date as soon as its set.
-
- Once the album is set to be released then i think everything else
- (single releases, tours) will come into place. Its all dependent on the
- album release date after all.
-
- One thing i have found out since ermmm...whenever....is the "Event
- Horizon" is now longer a part of the new album. Its being replaced by a
- House-type track that Phil was originally working on.
-
- More ... as it happens

- Papua New Guinea is on Cascade (2 mixes on the US version - don't know
- about the UK one). The UK single has 4 mixes. The US single has 8 mixes.
- The song is also available on the Cool World soundtrack, Logic Trance 2,
- Ambient Senses - Jumpin' and Pumpin', Yes...A Scott Hardkiss mix and the
- Hypnotic Pro Sampler, among others.

- I'll tell you that when I bought that CD and threw it in the player, the first
- song blew me away from how cool it was. I never remember the names of songs or
- even what the rest of the CD sounds like, but the first song is like DRIP or
- something and even though the first track's awesomeness eventually wore off, I
- do remember it being a pretty good CD. I may be wrong, but I think it is only
- 6 tracks, which kind of sucked, but it is good. Check out Live at Glastonbury
