  6. This is a collection of Linux game demos released for your personal use
  7. by Loki Software, Inc. Your use of each demo is subject to all of the
  8. terms and conditions of the developer's applicable end user license.
  9. These demos may not be modified, nor may they be distributed for a fee
  10. or other consideration.

  34. 3D Notes
  35. --------

  37. Some of the demos are marked as "3D accelerated" or "3D required".
  38. "3D accelerated" products offer hardware 3D acceleration but can be
  39. played on any system, while "3D required" products require 3D hardware
  40. acceleration.

  42. Only certain 3D cards currently have drivers under Linux.  For an
  43. overview of which cards and which drivers to use, please refer to

  47. Installation
  48. ------------

  50. To install the demos, mount the demo CD-ROM, and change directory to
  51. the to the directory where the CD is mounted, and run the command:
  52.  
  53.         sh setup.sh
  54.  
  55. You can then run the demos by running the Loki demo launcher:
  56.  
  57.         loki_demos
  58.  
  59. These demos do not have technical support, but the full versions 
  60. are supported via web, e-mail, and telephone.
