  5. - Welcome to the Mac Protection uninstallation script
  6.  
  7. The Mac Protection uninstallation script removes the Mac Protection client from your computer.
  8.  
  9. Instructions
  10.  
  11. Before starting, log in as a user with Administrator privileges and download the script 
  12. "uninstall_MacProtection" to your Desktop:
  13.    
  14.    ftp://ftp.f-secure.com/support/tools/uitool/mac/MacProtection/uninstall_MacProtection
  15.    
  16. 1. Open a Terminal window by navigating with Finder to /Applications/Utilities. Double-click Terminal.
  17.  
  18. 2. Type the following command on a single line and execute the command by pressing Enter
  19.  
  20. cd ; cd Desktop ; chmod +x uninstall_MacProtection ; sudo sh ./uninstall_MacProtection
  21.  
  22. Since the uninstallation script requires elevated user rights, type the password for 
  23. the administrative account and press Enter
  24.  
  25. 3. The uninstallation should start. When the script finishes succesfully, following information 
  26. is displayed:
  27.  
  28. "Uninstallation complete."
  29.  
  30. 4. The Mac Protection client is now uninstalled.

  34.  contact information available in your License Agreement.
