  11. This post-release fix is for the following products/versions:
  12.  o F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange 6.31
  13.  o F-Secure Internet Gatekeeper 6.41

  15. If you use earlier versions of the above mentioned products, please 
  16. download and install the latest version.

  18. This post-release fix includes the following new fixes:
  19.  o SCR#36132, Some enhancements in ZIP file handling
  20.  
  21. This post-release fix includes the following fixes from Hotfix 1:
  22.  o SCR#36162, Malware in a specially crafted archive may bypass detection
  23.  o SCR#36164, CSS may report exceptions in transaction handler
  24.  o SCR#36135, Occasional unhandled exceptions on scanning a PPT file with Libra
  25.  o SCR#36022, Unsuccessful spam checking may cause a mail to be quarantined/spooled
  26.  o SCR#37511, Improvements in spam definition database update logic

  32. SCR#36132 description:
  33.  
  34. This hotfix enhances the ZIP file handling as outlined in the SCR#36162 description with detection of manually edited ZIP files.

  36. SCR#36162 description:
  37.  
  38. ZIP archives crafted in a special way may fool the scanner to terminate 
  39. scanning and possible leave undetected malware in the archive.

  44. SCR#36164 description:
  45.  
  46. Under high loading the Content Scanner Server daemon may report exceptions in 
  47. transaction handler. Although exceptions do not cause malfunction of the 
  48. product, they may result in some e-mail messages or attachments being 
  49. quarantined due to a failure occurred on scanning. This fix solves the problem.

  51. SCR#36135 description:
  52.  
  53. The Libra scan engine may generate unhandled exception on scanning a certain
  54. PPT file because of incorrect error handling. The problem is fixed in
  55. the new version of the Libra engine included into this hotfix.

  57. SCR#36022 description:
  58.  
  59. Under certain conditions the spam scanner may fail to process a message,
  60. which would cause the message to be stopped in the spool or put in the
  61. quarantine. This fix improves the error handling logic and a failure on
  62. spam checking will not block messages anymore.

  64. SCR#37511 description:
  65.  
  66. This hotfix improves the handling of F-Secure Spam Control spam definition database updates. Applying this hotfix is required for succesful database updates.

  87. o Unpack all files from the package into a temporary folder on the
  88.   local machine.
