  13.  o F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange 6.01

  15. If you use earlier versions of the above mentioned products, please 
  16. download and install the latest version.

  18. This post-release fix includes the following fix: 
  19.  o FSC-2007-1 Buffer overflow vulnerability in handling of specially 
  20.               crafted LHA archives
  21.  
  22. Recommendation: Applying this post-release fix is strongly recommended.

  24. TECHNICAL DETAILS
  25.  
  26. FSC-2007-1 description:
  27.  
  28. An attacker may create a specially crafted LHA archive, which then in 
  29. its decompression phase can exploit a buffer overflow vulnerability, 
  30. allowing arbitrary code to be executed or the exploit to create a 
  31. denial-of-service condition. This hotfix removes the security 
  32. vulnerability.
