  20. A friend of mine and myself were going through a miniature conversion phase a
  21. few years back when he found a rather chewed up Smurf lying around in the back
  22. yard.  Deciding that his little brother wouldn't miss it, he added horns and
  23. a tentacle to it to create the first chaos smurf.
  24.  
  25. They became quite a talking point, so we whipped up a few more and I developed
  26. stats for them for use in the Chaos Warband comp that we were running and the
  27. local Bloodbowl league.  Those stats I will post in a couple of days, along with
  28. a capsule history of the Chaos Smurf race (they are currently at home).
  29.  
  30. Note that Chaos Smurfs are all large monsters, being 60 times the size of a 
  31. normal smurf.  To scale, a normal fun-loving Smurf (as opposed to the twisted
  32. and blood-drinking kind) can be made by adding a blob of milliput to an epic-
  33. scale orc's head and painting him blue and white.  In WFB terms, normal Smurfs
  34. fight in bases containing from 12-25 minitaures.

  36. All you need is some time, some wire, milliput, some spare time and a few
  37. smurfs and you too could have this astonishing addition to your Chaos Army.

  39. I experimented with a fotoman taking snaps of them.  I'll upload the gifs to
  40. the net.warhammer 00NEWSTUFF directory when greyhawk decides that it wants to
  41. talk to me again.

  71.  As you can see - he went a little bubbly.  He also made a horrible
  72.  stench, so I reccommend NOT tryng this at home or your wife/mother/SO/etc
  73.  will kill you.  Fortunately mine was trapped in floods for 3 days, so we
  74.  managed to get the smell out of the house by then.)
