  14.     Taking Care of Business is a story stemming from an email game
  15. I've been running since this summer.  The only player in the game is
  16. Karl Friesen (krf@purdue.edu).  His character, Silk, was one of the
  17. characters in the first WFRP adventure I ran (four years ago?)  He has
  18. survived to this day and, although he spent a good deal of time in
  19. limbo, was brought out this summer to give both Karl and I something to
  20. do (yeah, right).
  21.     We have made exchanges almost every day; however, email between
  22. Clemson and Purdue is almost instantanious, thus there have been days
  23. were more than a half dozen turns were exchanged (one-player pbem games
  24. are great!)
  25.     I didn't actually write this story; I just concatinated the
  26. messages we've exchanged, tidied them up a bit, and filled in the gaps.
  27. So most of Silk's orations were writen by Karl, not me.  Also, he had
  28. almost as much of a hand in the development of Altdorf as I; when Silk
  29. asked the bartender if the back room was in use, that meant to me that
  30. the tavern had a back room.
  31.     As for the shorts I promised, they're coming.  I had some
  32. problems last week and was pretty much out of school the whole time.
