Hey, folks. Here's my partial solution to the TSR copyrighting problem. It's
a pair of macros for MS Word 6.0 that search through a document and either
"genericize" or "degenericize" it.
You can copy the macro scripts into your clipboard and paste them straight
into your Word macro editor.
Right now the script only works for second-edition Ad&d monster entries in
the standard Ad&d format. With enough effort, altruistic gamers could write
up enough scripting to completely genericize/degenericize almost any text.
(Hint, hint.) I'll volunteer for quality control if folks send me completed
scripts (Say, somebody scripts first-level mage spells, somebody does fighter
kits, somebody does psionics, etc.
What do you guys think?
