  1. This is an archive of all programmes compiled up on our Ultrix enviroment.

  3. There is no version or dependency information, but they tend to be the 
  4. latest know working version for Ultrix.
  5.  
  6. To install:

  8. Create a directory called /lap with enough space to hold the software.
  9.  
  10. Unpack the files you want in that dir, and also unpack mklaplinks, make 
  11. sure you have created bin, lib, etc, and so on in /usr/local. Then just 
  12. run mklaplinks to create the links from /lap
  13.  
  14. # /lap/mklaplinks/sbin/mklaplinks
  15. ln -s /lap/lynx/bin/lynx /usr/local/bin/lynx
  16. ln -s /lap/lynx/lib/lynx.cfg /usr/local/lib/lynx.cfg
  17. ln -s /lap/lynx/man/man1/lynx.1 /usr/local/man/man1/lynx.1
