For those in larger office environments who prefer to hook the printer up<br />
to the company network, each SLP is equipped with a USB and serial<br />

<p>Each Seiko Instruments printer comes complete with Smart Label Software for<br />
fast, easy production of custom labels. A variety of fonts and graphics can<br />
be added. In addition, customized formats, complete with company logo and a<br />
post office-approved bar code, can easily be prepared.</p>
<p>Address labels are easy. The SmartCapture feature lets the user instantly<br />
"grab" an address or other text from standard desktop computing<br />
applications, such as Word, Act!, Goldmine, Palm Desktop and Outlook. No<br />
typing is required. Just a single mouse click, and the information is sent<br />
to the printer.</p>

<p>Seiko Instruments Smart Label Printers are compatible with Windows 2000,<br />
Windows XP, Mac OS 10.2 and higher, Power Macintosh G3/G4 and iMac, making<br />
printing labels from virtually any Windows or Mac application quick and<br />

<p>The new Seiko Instruments Smart Label Printer models will be available in<br />
July at leading consumer electronics retailer Fry's Electronics, at the<br />
company's web site at <a href="http://www.siibusinessproducts.com" title="www.siibusinessproducts.com">www.siibusinessproducts.com</a> and through leading<br />
online resellers including Tiger Direct and CDW. VARs, integrators and<br />
other resellers can also place orders through leading national computer<br />
products distributor Ingram-Micro. The SLP 410 will sell for an estimated<br />
street price (ESP) of $99; the SLP 420 for $119; and the SLP 430 will carry<br />
an ESP of $189.</p>
