Major new features include QuickTime 3 support, still image processing and
an improved interface. Version 3.0 has claimed early praise from title
developers, webmasters and other multimedia and video professionals. "The
new features and improved interface design make Media Cleaner even more
intuitive and easier to use," says Jim Baker, Managing Director at
Studiosource-21st Century Media. "With the new data rate graphs, settings
management, manual key frame insertion and the ability to set in and out
points, I get a higher degree of control and better results in less time."

"Providing the highest quality video for the Web is critical to our
business," said Ben Waggoner, Chief Technologist at Journeyman Digital.
"New technologies are raising the quality bar. Media Cleaner 3.0 lets us
take full advantage of these new technologies as the easiest and most
powerful tool to compress video. It is yet another revolutionary upgrade of
an essential tool for our industry."

The release of QuickTime 3 is significantly enhancing the desktop video
experience for a broad range of content developers with features like
Alternate Movies and embedded URL tags. Additionally, new technologies
included in QuickTime 3 such as the QDesign Music Codec and the Sorenson
Video codec enable developers to encode high-quality, low bitrate audio and
video. "Media Cleaner Pro 3.0 is the best multimedia compression tool in
the industry," said Mandy Chan, VP Marketing at QDesign Corporation. "The
latest version not only features the ability to create optimal video but
also audio. Media Cleaner 3.0 has fully integrated the advanced features of
the QDesign Music Codec - Professional Edition so that when the Pro encoder
is installed, audio professionals and multimedia producers can very easily
generate the highest quality QDesign Music files for stand-alone Internet
audio streaming or for publishing with compressed images and video."

Pricing and Availability
Media Cleaner 3.0 is available for the Mac OS. The product can be purchased
for a street price of $359 (U.S.) directly from Terran Interactive or
