<p>LAFAYETTE, CA - April 19th, 1999 - Neon Software announced today the<br />
latest upgrade to LANsurveyor, their network mapping, managing, and<br />
reporting application. LANsurveyor 5.0 adds the ability to query the<br />
network via IP as well as other new features, including folder<br />
distribution, instant messaging and a host of new query abilities.<br />
LANsurveyor 5.0 also features tight integration with Netopia's<br />
Timbuktu screen-sharing application and Neon Software's CyberGauge<br />

<p>LANsurveyor 5.0 autodiscovers both IP and AppleTalk nodes and draws a<br />
network map. From the map, fully customizable template reports can<br />
answer hundreds of questions about hardware and software assets.<br />
LANsurveyor runs on the MacOS and maps and audits up/down status of<br />
any IP or AppleTalk addressable node.</p>
