<p>The CodeWarrior software development environment for the PlayStation<br />
includes the popular CodeWarrior IDE, a new MIPS(R) compiler, ELF linker,<br />
PlayStation remote debugger, as well as conversion tools and drivers that<br />
are specifically designed for PlayStation software title development.<br />
CodeWarrior will support development with the DTL-H2000 ISA and DTL-H2500<br />
PCI development boards from Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. as well as the<br />
new development system for hobbyists. The tools are available for either a<br />
Macintosh or a Windows 95/NT host-based CodeWarrior environment.</p>
<p>Pricing and Availability<br />
The CodeWarrior software development environment for the PlayStation will<br />
be priced at $499 in the U.S. The Mac OS-hosted version will be released in<br />
the 3rd calendar quarter of 1996, while the Windows 95/NT-hosted version<br />
will be released in the 4th calendar quarter of 1996. The CodeWarrior for<br />
PlayStation software development environment will be available initially in<br />
both English and Kanji versions.</p>
