Digital Cameras</p>
<p>Kaidan announces several new Panoramic VR tripod heads and software<br />
bundles - bringing new immersive imaging solutions to owners of Fuji<br />
MX-2700 and MX-2900 Zoom digital cameras.</p>
<p>San Francisco, CA - Macworld Expo - January 5, 2000: The leading<br />
manufacturer of Photographic VR hardware; Kaidan Incorporated,<br />
announced today with Fuji Photo Film Co, Ltd. two new products<br />
targeted at immersive panoramic imaging for the Internet. The Kaidan<br />
KiWi 2700 and the KiWi 2900 are the ideal companion accessories to<br />
the popular Fujifilm MX-2700 and MX-2900 Zoom digital cameras. With<br />
these new KiWi tripod heads, owners of these Fuji cameras can quickly<br />
and easily create stunning immersive panoramic images for inclusion<br />
in documents, e-mail messages or web pages.</p>
<p>The KiWi tripod heads are available separately, or with industry<br />
leading QuickTime VR panoramic stitching software and tripods. These<br />
bundles are aimed directly at the consumer who is looking for an<br />
inexpensive and easy way to capture and distribute panoramas of their<br />
vacations, weddings, homes, schools, events and businesses.</p>
<p>According to Jim Anders, President of Kaidan, "Immersive panoramic<br />
imaging has reached the consumer and it's now affordable and easy to<br />
create. Now anyone can create the same kind of compelling content as<br />
thousands of well-known commercial web sites such as PBS Nova, Buick,<br />
NASA, Honda, National Geographic, Harrods and CNN. And now with our<br />
alliance with Fuji, we've added another prestigious name to the mix.<br />
With our new KiWi systems, Fujifilm digital camera owners can create<br />
an unlimited number of high-resolution QuickTime VR panoramas without<br />
licensing restrictions or a per-image "key" fee associated with other<br />
competing systems. Furthermore, these panoramas can be used for any<br />
desired purpose or application. Once you purchase a KiWi and QTVR<br />
software, you'll be shooting panoramas and not spending money in<br />
order to create each image."</p>
<p>Kaidan has engineered two panoramic tripod heads specifically<br />
designed to accommodate these two popular camera families from Fuji.<br />
The heads come with a 2-axis bubble level, a camera<br />
slider/positioner, a captive attachment knob and indexing detent<br />
discs for the standard and numerous wide-angle camera lenses.</p>

optional QuickTime VR software is easy to use and creates panoramas<br />
from any number of images. Any computer user will be able to drag and<br />
drop a series of images taken with their Fujifilm camera and the<br />

authorized Kaidan resellers and distributors worldwide. Additional<br />
