<p>CHICAGO - Aladdin Knowledge Systems (NASDAQ: ALDN), a global leader in the<br />
field of Internet content and software security, has announced readiness of<br />
HASP4 USB for Mac OS X. HASP4 is the latest hardware-based software<br />
protection system designed to offer unparalleled security in a<br />
multi-platform environment. Live demonstrations of the HASP4 solution for<br />
Mac OS X took place at Aladdin's MacWorld Booth.</p>
<p>Designed especially for Mac developers, HASP4 USB protects Mac OS X<br />
applications, as well as applications for Win32 on PCs, thus providing a<br />
more far-reaching hardware-based protection system. A single key can be<br />
used to protect applications for either Mac or Windows, providing users of<br />
both platforms with top security features within Aladdin's field-proven<br />
HASP4. Aladdin plans to deliver the new system following Apple's upcoming<br />
release of Mac OS X in early 2001.</p>
