  2. Precision work is made a lot easier through the use of grids and guidelines.

  4. A Guideline can be pulled onto the page from the rulers by pressing and dragging it to the desired location.

  6. When Snap to Guidelines is disabled, as it is now, guidelines will have no effect when an object is moved on the page.

  8. However, when Snap to Guidelines is enabled, the selected object will snap to the guidelines as though the guidelines were magnetised.

  10. Guidelines can be edited using the Guidelines Setup dialog. You can control horizontal and vertical guidelines independently.
