  1. Registration and Disclaimer

  3. Registration is not required to use the shareware version of PegSolo 
  4. (Version 1.0).  Non-registered users may use PegSolo as long as they 
  5. wish.  However, in order to use the additional boards, one must register
  6. the software to receive the registered, full-featured version (Version 1.0R).
  7.  
  8. A single user license permits a user to use PegSolo only on a single
  9. computer.  Licensed users may use the program on different computers,
  10. as long as there is NO POSSIBILITY of it being used at one location while
  11. it is being used at another, or on a computer network by more than one user
  12. at a time.

  15. No one may modify or patch the PegSolo executable files in any way,
  16. including but not limited to decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise
  17. reverse engineering the program.

  19. A limited license is granted to copy and distribute PegSolo only for the
  20. trial use of others, subject to the above limitations, and also the
  21. following:
  22.  
  23. 1)    PegSolo and all of its release files must be copied in unmodified
  24.    form, complete with the file containing this license information.
  25.  
  26.  
  27. 2)    Operators of electronic BBSs (sysops) may make PegSolo available for
  28.    downloading only as long as the above conditions are met.  An overall or
  29.    time-dependent charge for the use of the bulletin board system is
  30.    permitted as long as there is not a specific charge for the download of
  31.    PegSolo.

  33. 3)    Shareware copies may be uploaded to BBSs, FTP sites, Usenet
  34.    newsgroups, and any network sites with the condition that all of its
  35.    release files must be included in unmodified form, complete with the
  36.    file containing this license information.

  38. 4)    Non-profit user groups may distribute copies of PegSolo diskettes to
  39.    their members, subject to the above conditions, without specific
  40.    permission. Non-profit groups may collect a disk duplication fee enough
  41.    to cover the cost of the media and handling.
