  1. This is the shareware version of Imperial Conquest,  a war/strategy
  2. game for Windows 3.1  (and probably Windows95).
  3. As we prefer software not to alter our system files IC does not attempt
  4. to install itself, to install it simply copy all the files to the desired drive 
  5. and directory.  Refer to your Windows manual or help-files for 
  6. instructions on installing it in a group.  Imperial Conquest will run 
  7. (slowly) from a floppy disk, it only accesses the disk to save or load, 
  8. or while you are using the help system.  The files needed are;
  9. IMPCONQ.EXE  (the main program file)
  10. IMPCONQ.DAT  (the main data file)
  11. IMPCONQ.HLP  (the help file)
  12. All these files must be in the same directory.
