" CLOUDS "
Copyright 1992 / Gene Lacy
This ASD cloud file will provide you with a realistic representation
of a broken cloud coverage over your FS4 default scenery areas. It's
simple yet effective. Clouds were made quickly and easily using the
new Version.04 SEE04 special effects editor by Leamming Wheeler and
Joe Lincoln and is distributed by :

Cloud files :
CHI_CLDS.SC1 - - Chicago Area
NY_CLDS.SC1 - - New York Area
LA_CLDS.SC1 - - Los Angeles Area
SF_CLDS.SC1 - - San Fransisco Area
SEA_CLDS.SC1 - - Seattle Area
Clouds are and must be used and treated as ordinary ASD scenery Files!
Neat ways to use clouds:
Set random weather for cloud build-up. The extra FS4
generated clouds adds to the effect!
Set thunderstorms for 0 ft base and 60 to 80K tops and
moving rapidly (50-100 kts). You will occasionally
have to delay your takeoffs or abort your landings when
fast moving cells zero the visibility at the airports.
Large rectangles on ground texture enhances a 3-D effect
of the cloud elevations if you can stand the snapshots.
Don't forget about FAR's part 91.155 if your squawking 1200:
Distance from clouds
500 feet below
1,000 feet above
2,000 feet feet horizontal
Many thanks too Microsoft for FS4 and of course BAO and, for sure,
