Use the arrow keys to position to the various options on the main menu.
Use the ENTER key to select the option. When you are prompted for data, you
may use the following keys in preparing your reply.
UP Arrow - Recall oldest data line
DOWN Arrow - Recall latest data line
RIGHT Arrow - Move cursor one position to right
LEFT Arrow - Move cursor one position to left
CONTROL H - Move cursor one position to left and erase character
->| - Tab right eight positions
|<- - Tab left eight positions
INS - Insert toggle to insert data. Press again to cancel.
DEL - Deletes data under the cursor.
END - Toggles to either left or right end of line.
ENTER - Give completed data line to programme.
ESC - Escape key aborts current action.

CONTROL C, ENTER - Emergency abort of current process

The Up and Down arrow only recall data when in the search prompts.

Allows you to select any verses containing phrases or words you specify.
These may occur in any order in the verse and may be separated from each
other by other words.

Allows you to select any verse containing the words you specify. The words
may occur in any order in the verse and may be separated from each other by
other words.
$$004 7602 Range for Search
Allows the limiting of the search range to either the Old or New Testament
or any other portion you select.
$$005 7602 Verse List Display
The left window is used to display either verses you selected or verse
references loaded in from a file.
$$006 7601 Passage Display
The right window displays the passage you select.
$$007 7601 Note Display
The Verse Notes for the verse you select, are displayed in the notes window.
$$008 7602 Word Definition
Select any definition using Strong's number, for display in the notes
window.
$$009 7602 Verse List Print
You may print the verses you selected or loaded in from a file. Answer the
options in the "Print Menu" to determine how the text is to be printed.
$$010 7602 Passage Print
You may print any passage in the Bible. Answer the options in the 'Print
Menu' to determine what and how the text is to be printed.
$$011 7602 Note Print
You may print your notes for a verse. Answer the options in the "Print Menu"
to determine what and how the text is to be printed.
$$012 7602 Word Definition
You may print any definition in the Greek or Hebrew Lexicon. Definitions are
keyed using Strong's numbers. OT numbers must be prefixed with a zero.
$$013 7604 Get Verse List
Reads selected list of verses that were created by user or by selecting
certain words in verses. The user may print the text of these verses by
selecting the "Print Verses" option. You may add to or replace this file
when you save to it.
$$014 7605 Verse List Save
Saves the references for selected verses. The user may alter this list by
adding, changing or deleting references. The user may also merge previous
lists to create a new list. This altered list may be read back and the
text of these verses printed. This option may also be used to add cross
references to a verse note file.
$$015 7602 Edit Verse List
You will be prompted for a Verse List file to change. The editor will be
invoked to permit you to edit the file.
$$016 7603 List Sort
Sorts list of selected verses into ascending order and duplicate verse
entries are eliminated. To retain the sorted list, save using the 'Save
Verse List' menu.
$$017 7605 Export Note File
Writes a file containing your notes for a verse so you can update it. The
notes for the verse must already exist otherwise they can not be extracted.
The file name has the format "mat1.2" where the first part is the book
abbreviation, the first number is the chapter and the file extension is the
verse. A range of verses may be specified. e.g. mat 1:1 - mat 4:2
$$018 7604 Definition Export
Writes a file for definition for a word from lexicon files. The definition
for the word must already exist otherwise they can not be extracted. The
file name is 'G0nnnn' for the Greek and 'H0nnnn' for the Hebrew, where
'nnnn' is the Strong's number.
$$019 7603 Import Note File
Updates the note for a verse. The notes file is assumed to have been
extracted from the notes database by the EXPORT option. A range of verse
may be specified. e.g. mat 1:1 - mat 4:2
$$020 7602 Update Definition
Updates a Lexicon word definition. The definition file is assumed to have
been extracted from the lexicon database by the EXPORT option.
$$021 7602 DOS Gateway
This invokes the DOS COMMAND processor, allowing you to issue DOS
commands. To return to the Bible programme, type "EXIT".
$$022 7604 System Options
Using this option, you may vary the size of the Scan Window, size and
position of the Note window display, and the colours used for display.
Page layout options for the printer may be adjusted. Use the left or
right arrow keys to change the options.
$$023 7602 Change Notes Prefix
This option allows you to alter the prefix and drive used to access the
notes without having to leave the programme.
$$024 7601 Exit Programme
The programme is terminated and you are returned to DOS.
$$050 7602 Change Diskettes
Replace first diskette in your drive with the last diskette in the series
and press ENTER key to continue.

Normally text is formatted with titles and verse numbers. Specify 'no' for
the raw text for reprocessing by a text processor. Use left or right arrow
keys to select either 'yes' or 'no' response.

Formatted output assumes you are using continuous forms in you printer.
Specify 'yes' to feed sheets one at a time to your printer. Use left or
right arrow keys to select either 'yes' or 'no' response.

Formatted output is normally single spaced. Specify 'yes' to double space
all output. Use left or right arrow keys to select either 'yes' or 'no'
response.

Specify 'yes' to do a detailed exegesis on a passage. A definition of all
the original words is printed following the passage. Use left or right arrow
keys to select either 'yes' or 'no' response.

Specify "yes" to print your verse notes after each verse in the passage. Use
left or right arrow keys to select either "yes" or "no" response.

For formatted output, the title you specify, is printed at the top of each
page of output.

Specify the DOS file to contain the output. The default name is your
printer, PRN.

Setting the range limits the scope of the print function.
1) To print a single verse
e.g. "Jo 3:16" will print John 3:16
2) To print just a single chapter
e.g. "Ps 90" will print the 90th Psalm
3) To print a single book

4) To print from one book to another
e.g. "1Jo - 3jo" will print from 1 John to the end of 3 John

uniquely identify most books. There is no space between the book number and
the book name, i.e. 1 John is written as 1John. The ":" may be replaced

print. The definitions are keyed to Strong's numbers. OT numbers are

If you specify YES, and the new notes data will be inserted ahead of your
existing notes for the verse. If you do not want this, specify NO, and the
notes you are retrieving will replace any existing notes for that verse.

Increase available memory for faster screen displays and quicker searches.

The left window displays the verses that were selected by your selection

The file name does not exist. Recheck the spelling of the name and check the
DOS path specification.

The ending verse range is less than the starting verse range. It must be
equal or greater than the starting range.

The Strong's number is out of range. For the New Testament, it must not be
